I bought a couple of boxes of snacks for my husband, and they’ve really helped us eat well.
One of the biggest complaints about these boxes is that they come in a small bag with a little piece of paper on top.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, because if you’re not going to use them, then you don’t need the paper, right?
But for those of us who want to eat healthy, a bag with that paper on the inside is really nice.
But I’m not going out of my way to make my husband and kids eat those things.
Instead, I like to make them my own.
This recipe for snack bags makes a delicious snack and, as you’ll see, they’re actually quite easy to make.
I made my own bag of snack bags with the following ingredients: 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/3 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1/16 teaspoon nutmeg 1/6 teaspoon nutty-flavored seasoning Salt to taste 1 tablespoon unsalted oil 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts (optional) 1/1 cup finely chopped blueberries, optional Directions In a medium bowl, combine the butter, flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and mix well.
Add the spices, walnuts, blueberries and seasonings to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
You should have about 2 cups of dough.
Knead it for a minute or two until the dough starts to form a ball.
Shape the dough into a ball and press it into the prepared bag.
Place the bag into a greased 9-inch pie pan, filling about 1/12-inch of the bag with dough.
Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Shape 2 large cookies, about the size of a quarter (I used about 4 mini cookies), into balls and place in the greased pie pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or till golden brown.
Serve warm or cold.
Notes I prefer to make the bag of snacks ahead of time and reheat them in the microwave or oven.
If you want them to be more convenient to use, you can roll them into 1/5-inch cubes and place them in a bag.
They’re very easy to store in the fridge or freezer.
If this recipe makes your day, you may want to add extra flour, butter, and/or sugar to your dough.
If your dough has been too sticky to handle, try adding a little more salt or cinnamon.
This will make it less sticky and give it a nice, chewy texture. 3.5.3208
