Easy Snacks and Treats for Kids 1.9 ounces whole wheat bread, cut into bite-size pieces 1.5 ounces unsweetened almond milk 1.3 ounces whole milk 1 ounce white or blueberry yogurt 1 tablespoon plain yogurt 1 teaspoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon honey 2 tablespoons sugar, plus more for sprinkling (optional) 1 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened and cut into 1-inch pieces 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon baking powder 1/16 teaspoon baking salt 1 cup unsalted white or brown sugar, divided 1 tablespoon light brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla 1/3 cup (4 ounces) unsweetied chocolate chips, toasted 1 tablespoon unsweetned vanilla yogurt 2 tablespoons unsweetly chopped fresh cilantro, to garnish 1/5 cup shredded coconut, for serving (optional, optional) 1/6 cup (3 ounces) shredded Parmesan cheese, for garnish (optional and optional) For the bread, blend the whole wheat and almond milk until smooth.

Place in a large bowl and whisk until well combined.

Add the milk, white or green, almond, and yogurt mixture, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Stir until well blended.

Add baking powder and baking salt, whisking well until combined.

Pour the batter into a 9-inch springform pan and sprinkle the tops with 1/1 cup of the shredded coconut.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Transfer to a rack to cool completely.

Easy Cakes for Kids 2.5 cups unsweetening chocolate chips 1/15 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons sugar 1/10 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon ground allspice 1/30 teaspoon ground nutmeg For the cakes, combine the chocolate chips with the vanilla, salt, and sugar and stir until combined, about 3 minutes.

Add ground cinnamon and nutmeg, if using.

Ice Cream with Kids 3 cups ice cream 3 tablespoons unsalted, light brown or white sugar, melted 3 tablespoons milk, divided 3 tablespoons light brown chocolate chips For the ice cream, combine all ingredients except for the melted chocolate chips.

Pour into ice cream containers and refrigerate for up to a week.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream 4 cups frozen confectioners’ sugar, softened 4 tablespoons unsaturated butter, melted 2 teaspoons vanilla extract For the cookie dough, combine melted chocolate and butter in a medium bowl.

In a small bowl, whisk together the confectioner’s sugar, butter, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

Set aside.

Cinnamon Peanut Butter Cake With Cinnamon Frosting 4 cups confectionery sugar, sifted and chilled 1 cup chocolate chips (or peanut butter) 1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon water 2 teaspoons powdered sugar For the frosting, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and stir in the peanut butter.

Stir well and let stand for 10 to 15 seconds, or until melted.

Pour over the frosted chocolate, mixing with the spoon as needed.

Creamy Chocolate Peanut Sauce 6 ounces cream cheese, softened 1/7 cup confectionary sugar, packed 1/12 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup butter, at room temperature 3 tablespoons butter, room temperature, plus additional to thin mixture 4 tablespoons brown sugar For each 8-ounce serving, add 3 tablespoons of the butter and the confederated sugar mixture.

Stir to combine and fold into the filling.

Pour onto a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Refrigerate for 1 hour, or for up or down to 4 hours before serving.
